<Synopsis> [Stage Play "Touken Ranbu" Prologue] [The Lame March] Year 2205 AD. "History Revisionists," aiming to alter history, have begun their attacks on the past. The opposing government dispatches individuals known as "Saniwa" to the past to protect history. Created by the Saniwa's power to awaken the spirits of objects, the "Sword Boys," tsukumogami residing in swords, join the Saniwa in the battle to protect history. In the early days of the Honmaru (base), Yamanbagiri Kunihiro and his First Unit were sent to the era of the Odawara Campaign by their master's orders. This was not a typical deployment location targeted for historical alteration by the Time Retrograde Army, but Yamanbagiri and his unit were sent to investigate whether it could become a target for alteration in the future. At that location, the Sword Boys are ambushed by the Time Retrograde Army, who shouldn't have been there. Why were the Time Retrograde Army present in an era not targeted for historical revision? Taking the injured Honebami to an abandoned hunter's hut, the Touken Danshi, confused and inexperienced, find themselves in disarray. Yamanbagiri and Yamabushi, on patrol, encounter Kuroda Kanbei and his son Nagamasa, who were participating in the Siege of Odawara. Suspicious of their identities, Yamabagiri, Yamabushi, and Doudanuki are taken to Kuroda's camp by Kanbei. Meanwhile, Hasebe, Sayo, and Honebami track down the Time Retrograde Army they spotted in the mountains. Their pursuit leads them to Kuroda's camp. Why did the Time Retrograde Army appear near Kuroda's camp?

[Stage Play "Touken Ranbu": Jyoden Kuroda-bushi Oyako Sakazuki] Year 2205 AD. "History Revisionists," aiming to alter history, have begun their attacks on the past. When the government of the time confronts the enemy, it dispatches individuals called "Saniwa" to the past to protect history.

Created by the Saniwa's power to awaken the spirits of objects, the "Touken Danshi"—Tsukumogami residing in swords—throw themselves into battle alongside the Saniwa to protect history. Many years have passed since the establishment of the Honmaru, and the Touken Danshi have grown strong through countless battles. Many comrades have now manifested in the Honmaru, which began with the sword Yamanbagiri Kunihiro. One day, they receive orders from their master to sortie. Their destination is the era of the Odawara Campaign, a timeline where the travel route had been blocked due to a past defeat. There, they are attacked by a mysterious ninja. Following the ninja, they encounter Kuroda Nagamasa and his retainer, Mori Tomonobu. The Touken Danshi hear a shocking truth from Nagamasa. While talking with Nagamasa and others, Yamanbagiri and Yamabushi are attacked by the Time Retrograde Army. During the battle, they encounter "something" that shouldn't be there. In the midst of the chaos, Yamanbagiri compares the events to those that occurred in past battles and predicts that something is amiss in the flow of time surrounding them. And so, he is forced to confront his past self in the place where he suffered a defeat. In Odawara, where the anomaly is unfolding, he will embark on a "battle to overcome the past."
