About the Artist

Honda Yasuaki: After making his acting debut in TBS's "2-nen B-gumi Senhachi Sensei" (1981, co-starring with Shibugakitai and Hiroko Mita), he made his debut as a singer in 1982. With his striking visuals reminiscent of David Sylvian, a member of the British visual kei rock band JAPAN, he was initially marketed as an idol, but gradually developed his musical talent, releasing the single "Sayonara no SEXY BELL" (composed by Koji Tamaki) and the album "ANGEL OF GLASS," featuring original songs by Andy McCoy and backed by Hanoi Rocks. In 1984, he became the first teenage singer to perform at the Nippon Budokan. Her authentic Western-oriented sound and glamorous appearance became the foundation for the subsequent success of artists such as Koji Kikkawa and BOOWY. She has many male fans as well as female fans. After forming the rock band "The TOYS" in 1988, she is currently active as a solo artist.
