Refresh your tatami room with just a tatami mat.
Use it to refresh sun-damaged tatami mats or as a cover to protect new tatami mats from staining.
Made with domestically grown (Kyushu) rush grass measuring 105-110cm in length. Approximately 85cm of the grass is used. The edges are slightly white. (This is not due to sun damage, but rather to the color of the base and tip of the rush.)
The longer the rush, the more luxurious it becomes. The tips of rush grass are reddish-brown, the base is white, and the center is blue (green). The more high-quality blue grass is used, the stronger and more beautiful the finish will be.
In addition, rush grass will sun-tan as it is used, but the more of the blue center part is used, the more evenly the entire surface will sun-tan and the more flavor it will have.
Made with domestically grown (Kyushu) rush grass. Japanese-grown rush grass is thick, with a thick outer skin and fine fibers, making it resilient and durable.
Rush grass purifies the air, regulates humidity, and is stain-resistant.
The rush grass is treated with Aomori cypress (antibacterial and deodorizing properties).
Economical, with both sides usable.
