Fully Manual Operation: The Godox IM30 is a manual flash. You must manually set the correct power setting and it does not support TTL. The IM30 mini flash only faces forward and the angle is not adjustable, so it cannot be used for bounce photography. However, it offers significantly improved power/range and light quality compared to built-in flashes. Its extremely small and lightweight design, combined with a compact prime lens, makes it an easy-to-carry package for quick shots. It can be used off-camera as a fill light or bounce light, making it ideal for outdoor fill light.
IDEAL FOR FILL LIGHTS AND SHORT-THROUGH LENSES: The Godox IM30 is optimized for use with pancake and short-throw lenses, making it ideal for outdoor fill and supplemental lighting. Using larger or longer lenses can cause the flash to cast shadows in your photos. For best results, make sure your lens is no longer than 3 inches.
Compact and Lightweight Design: Weighing only 78 grams, the Godox IM30 flash easily fits in your pocket or can be attached to your camera, making it the perfect accessory to carry with you in any shooting conditions.
Enhanced Light Quality: This Godox IM30 mini camera flash offers 7 levels of output, from 1/64 to full, allowing you to adjust flash power according to aperture and shooting distance. With a guide number of 15 (ISO 100, meters), it provides brighter, more natural fill light than most built-in flashes.
Reliable AAA Power: The Godox IM30 is powered by two AAA batteries (sold separately) and can provide up to 230 flashes on a single charge. Replacement is easy, allowing for long-term use without worrying about the rechargeable battery deteriorating.
Versatile Slave Flash Modes: Godox IM30 features S1 and S2 modes, with indicator lights to show when the flash is on or when the optical control flash function is off, allowing for easy operation for any lighting needs.
