Utilizing a high-function nylon twill with [Master-piece]’s original special water-repellent processing, m-coat, for the body material, this all-weather lightweight business series is finished with ample storage and a simple, lightweight design. The body fabric is woven from high-strength 66 nylon with 70d warp and 210d weft in a high-density twill weave and dyed with high-pressure dyeing. Subsequently, it undergoes [Master-piece]’s original special water-repellent processing, m-coat. m-coat boasts significantly superior water repellency and abrasion resistance compared to conventional water-repellent processing, and achieves excellent water repellency and durability by structuring the water-repellent agent on the fiber surface using special technology, unlike conventional water-repellent processing. Many water-repellent products lose their water-repellent performance with repeated use and washing, but m-coat has obtained Grade 4 in the Bundesmann water-repellent test even after 100 washes. For water-repellent performance, we conduct the rigorous Bundesmann test (※) rather than the spray test (JIS -L1092) used in conventional measurement standards.

Furthermore, the back of the fabric is processed with Breathatec from Toray Industries, Inc. This is a polyurethane wet microporous coating material using unique polymer technology, combining high water resistance. The type of polyurethane used in the coating material is polycarbonate for excellent durability. The water-repellent function of m-coat repels water, and the water resistance of Breathatec prevents water from entering, making it a material that can withstand sudden downpours and heavy rain.

The attached leather is carefully selected high-quality domestic steer leather, and a waterproofing agent from “3M” is placed in a drum during dyeing to permeate the fibers of the leather.
