A: What types of guitars can the KATANA-AIR transmitter be used with?

It can be attached to most common guitars (Stratocaster type, Telecaster type, Les Paul type, SG type, electric acoustic guitar, endpin jack, etc.).
However, the following guitars are not supported.
● The following types of equipment have limited specifications.
- Devices with a stereo standard type (TRS standard type) output terminal.
*Only the L side (Tip side) signal will be output.
● This product is not compatible with the following types of guitars.
- Guitars that do not have enough space (a cylindrical space with a diameter of 18.5 mm and a depth of 5 mm) to mount a transmitter at the mounting jack.
- Guitars with special electrical wiring specifications
- Some guitars equipped with active pickups (*1)
- YAMAHA Silent Guitar (*2)
(*1) In a guitar's active circuit, the typical wiring method for a TRS jack output is Tip = audio, Sleeve = ground, and Ring = ground. Occasionally, guitars have the Ring and Sleeve wired in reverse, in which case the guitar's active circuit will not function correctly.
(*2) It will not work due to the electrical wiring specifications.
* The KATANA-AIR has a maximum output of 20W when using batteries and a maximum output of 30W when using an AC adapter.
