■ Important Notes

This is a clear lens protection filter, not a UV, polarizing or neutral-density filter. The 98.9% transmittance figure is the manufacturer’s current average value measured across the 400–700 nm range. Scratch-resistant construction does not mean that the glass or coating is completely scratch-proof. The coating helps make water, oil and fingerprints easier to remove but does not make the filter waterproof or completely stain-proof. This filter provides additional protection but cannot guarantee that a lens will not be damaged by impact, drops or improper handling. Confirm the required 62 mm thread size before purchasing. Packaging and printed materials may contain Japanese. Filter-case and package designs may vary depending on the production period.
