[Product Description] The "Magewappa" (bentwood lunchbox) made by Kato Woodworking is formed by gluing two sheets of plywood together in a circular shape. This rare technique, which is disappearing in Japan, was deliberately revived and production began in November 2008. When viewed from the front, the frame shows a layered appearance, and the outside reveals the beautiful, understated grain of basswood.
