It creates coatings with the highest stain resistance, and their removal is child's play. Dulux EasyCare is 10x more resistant to scrubbing. It meets the highest requirements of the Polish standard PN-C 81914:2002, Type 1.
Dulux EasyCare has a coating thickness loss of less than 10 μm after 2000 scrubbing cycles (10 times the standard requirement). Resistance testing confirmed by the IMPiB Institute in Gliwice. It can be applied to plasters (cement and cement-lime), gypsum substrates, plasterboard, paper wallpaper, and fiberglass.
Water vapor permeability through the free coating confirmed by the IMPiB Institute in Gliwice.
- Heat resistance - not suitable for use on heated surfaces, e.g.
- The coating repels water and other liquid dirt - hydrophobic effect,
- Good water vapor permeability ensuring the walls can breathe,
- Excellent coverage,
- Easy to apply,
- Low level of splashing during application.
Scrubbing resistance according to PN-EN 13300:2002: Class 1
Scrub resistance according to PN-C 81914:2002: Type I
Gloss degree at an angle of 85° according to PN-EN 13300:2002: Deep Matte (light reflectance index <5)
VOC content limit (cat.: A/a): 30g/l (2010): The product contains max. 7g/l VOC
Drying time for a single layer, at a temperature of approx. +20 degrees C and relative humidity of approx. 50%, with good ventilation:
- for surface drying - 2 hours
- for applying the next layer - 2 hours
A lowering of temperature and/or an increase in humidity may extend the drying time drying.
Do not add foreign ingredients.
Wash off any contaminants with water and a cleaning agent. Allow to dry.
Clean fungal surfaces with a putty knife and then apply a suitable fungicide.
Fill any unevenness and damage to the surface with a suitable filler, then level and smooth it.
- Prime highly absorbent, unstable, dusty and porous substrates in the following order:
- relative air humidity should be lower than 80%
- brush: the best effect is achieved using brushes with synthetic bristles
- roller: the best effect is achieved using rollers with natural fleece or string rollers with a fleece length of 10-18 mm
- do not dilute the emulsion,
- spread thoroughly until an even layer is obtained.
Do not use empty packaging for storing food.
Removing stains and dirt
Remove any dirt with a soft sponge and water with dishwashing liquid for no longer than 15 minutes.
- after drying, wash the stain with water using a soft sponge or cloth without excessive scrubbing,
- if after washing with water the trace of the splash is still visible, use a detergent such as dishwashing liquid, wash without using excessive force, after removing the dirt, wash the coating with water and dry.
- gently remove all solid dirt and greasy residues,
- wash the stain with water using a soft sponge or cloth without excessive scrubbing,
- If, after washing with water, the splash mark is still visible, use a detergent such as dishwashing liquid. Wash without using excessive force. After removing the dirt, wash the coating again with water and dry.
Caution! The hydrophobic effect is only visible on completely dry coatings. With repeated washing or scrubbing of the same surface with detergents, the hydrophobic effect may disappear. Stain resistance confirmed on stains from orange juice, cola, soy sauce, and beetroot concentrate.
When removing stains, follow the manufacturer's instructions on the label and in the technical data sheet.
