CS 561 Fibre Disc – Aggressive Grinding of Steel and Non-Ferrous Metals
CS 561 fibre discs for steel and non-ferrous metals are characterized by very good performance.
The synthetic resin bond makes the product robust, resistant, and durable.
CS 561 fibre discs are universal and extremely efficient.
Available in all common industrial diameters, the CS 561 disc offers the widest selection of diameters and grits in the Klingspor fibre disc range.
A wide range of different grit sizes makes the CS 561 a universal material for sanding:
- non-ferrous metals,
- plastics and
Construction of CS 561 fiber discs
This is a fiber disc composed of a substrate made of a composite material, multi-layered thick paper and densely packed electrocorundum grain.
The grains are bonded to the substrate using a synthetic resin-based binder.
Application of CS 561 fiber discs
CS 561 fiber discs are used in angle grinders.
The range of available grit sizes makes the CS 561 fiber disc versatile.
In the medium and fine grit range, it provides high stock removal when grinding steel and non-ferrous metals.
The CS 561 disc with its coarse grit can even be used on wood and plastics.
The solid construction allows for operation at very high rotational speeds.
