Sennheiser MKE 200 Directional for DSLR Cameras On-Camera Microphone, Black, 508897, (External Mount)

The MKE 200 is a directional microphone that delivers clear, impactful sound for use as a camera microphone. Its compact and sophisticated design makes it easy to carry. It's recommended for situations where sound quality is paramount, such as vlogging and video production. Wind protection and suspension mounts are integrated into the main body. A mesh layer inside the housing suppresses wind noise and handling noise. It enables clean audio recording that can withstand ambient noise, making it ideal as a microphone for video cameras in windy outdoor environments. By swapping the included 3.5mm TRS and TRRS cables, it is compatible with a wide range of devices. It can connect to microphones on DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, smartphones, and more. It is recommended for creators who want to shoot higher-quality videos, and for those who want to use it as a microphone for their mirrorless camera. It uses a plug-in power system that eliminates the need for batteries or phantom power. Recording starts simply by connecting the cable to your smartphone like a shotgun microphone, making it easy to use. It also features a locking jack function to prevent the cable from coming loose during important recording sessions, allowing you to concentrate on recording with peace of mind. To avoid noise caused by the power supply environment, we recommend using it in operation. It supports improved audio quality for all videos during camera shooting, providing a professional recording experience. *Hum noise may occur when connected to an AC adapter, but it does not occur when in operation or when connected externally.
