This is a 1/48 scale plastic model kit of the Jagdpanzer IV L/48, a highly regarded tank destroyer from World War II, part of Tamiya's Military Miniature Series No.22.

The model measures 203mm in length and accurately depicts the well-balanced style with sloped armor and a long 8.8cm gun, providing a realistic feel. Details such as weld marks on the armor plates and casting textures around the gun shield enhance the realism. The exhaust muffler includes parts for a standard cast base as well as components with an anti-infringement device and deflection nozzle. Hatches for each crew member are designed to be opened or closed as desired. The chassis is made of heavy-duty die-cast metal. The tracks are assembled from straight segments as one-piece links, creating a three-dimensional appearance. Includes three markings for a three-color camouflage typical of the late war period.
