YATO thread is designed for use in installations with a maximum pressure of up to 15 bar and an operating temperature ranging from -20°C to 130°C.
The thread is made of very durable polyamide fibers, making it resistant to tearing.
Additionally, unlike Teflon tapes, the use of thread allows for joint corrections of up to 45°, significantly simplifying installation and reducing costs.
Additionally, the YATO thread is soaked in a special silicone grease, which provides very good sealing properties, and besides, it does not harden.
This makes unscrewing the screw connection very easy, even after many years.
The convenient-to-use tube in the cover has a double-sided cutting knife that allows for easy and quick cutting of the thread to the desired length.
The 150m long YATO thread is very efficient and allows sealing up to 330 1/2" diameter connections.
The attached table provides the suggested number of coils for individual pipe diameters.
