Grell Audio OAE2 [Open-back monitor headphones with FSFM technology] 40mm biocellulose diaphragm, natural forward sound localization, 3.5mm 3-pole/4.4

The OAE2 is an open-back monitor headphone developed by Grell Audio, the audio brand established in Germany in 2023 by Axel Grell, who has continuously developed innovative headphones at a leading German audio manufacturer. Embodying Axel's design philosophy of "achieving the most natural and accurate sound possible," extensive testing and iteration were emphasized, focusing on eliminating distortion and coloration that would detract from the listening experience. The OAE2 features Axel's proprietary "Front Side Sound Field Modulation (FSFM)." Unlike conventional headphones, it employs transducers positioned at an angle to the baffle. The 40mm diaphragm uses a biocellulose cone, achieving a particularly large radiating surface and sufficient amplitude. This results in an exquisite balance of delicate highs and powerful lows. The baffle surrounding the transducer has approximately twice the open area of comparable products and is covered with German-made precision stainless steel mesh. This mesh precisely defines the acoustic impedance, providing an excellent balance of bass and treble. The headband is constructed from breathable velour and high-quality memory foam. The ear pads are made by attaching premium velour to foam. The cable is approximately 1.8m long and uses ultra-fine 4-core silver-plated OFC copper with Kevlar reinforcement. The headphone connector has a 2.5mm 4-pole socket, and two plugs are included: one with a 3.5mm plug + 6.35mm screw-lock type conversion adapter and another with a 4.4mm balanced plug. A robust leather carrying case is also included. [Feel your music in a new way] Discover the true tone that music should inherently possess with the OAE2, which creates a listening experience as if you were in the recording studio itself.

【Ergonomically Optimized Comfort】The OAE2 is ergonomically optimized to fit a variety of head shapes. The adjustable slider allows for smooth adjustment to both large and small heads. The clamping force is adjusted to provide a secure fit without feeling constricting. The headband and ear pads flexibly conform to your head, and the wide, large contact surface provides superior comfort even during extended listening sessions.

【Easy-to-Use Connectors and Cables, Robust Carrying Case】The OAE2 headphones feature 4-pole 2.5mm sockets on both sides, allowing for single-sided connection (left or right) or dual-sided connection (*). The cable is constructed from four ultra-fine silver-plated OFC copper wires for optimal signal transmission. It features low microphonic noise and an easy-to-handle design. One cable with a 3.5mm connector and a screw-lock 6.35mm adapter, and one 4.4mm cable for balanced connection are included. A stylish and robust leather carrying case is also included for portability. (*) Dual-sided connection cable sold separately.
