◎Product Features

●Capacity: Approximately 0.8L. For 1-2 people.
◎Precautions for Use
●Wipe off any moisture from the outside of the pot, especially the bottom, before placing it over a flame.
●Do not heat the pot empty. Empty heating may cause it to crack, so always fill the pot with water before heating.
●Use medium or low heat on a gas stove.
●When using a gas stove, place the pot in the center of the burner for stability, ensuring the flame does not extend beyond the bottom of the pot.
●This product is for gas stoves only. Do not use with electric appliances such as induction cooktops.
●Never use on a stove. There is a risk of cracking or burns due to dropping or overheating.
●Before first use, fill the pot with water to about 80% capacity and add about 2 tablespoons of flour, then bring to a boil. This will help the food cook more evenly and reduce staining. Fine cracks (crazing) may appear on the surface of the pot, but this does not affect its use.
●Never use this pot for deep-frying, such as tempura or fried foods. It may cause a fire.
●The pot becomes hot during and after cooking, posing a risk of burns. Use oven mitts or similar protection when handling it. Be especially careful not to touch toothpicks.
●Do not fill the pot to the brim with water. Overflow of food may extinguish the gas flame, so pay attention to the heat and the amount of food being cooked. Also, do not leave the pot unattended while cooking.
●Do not subject the heated pot to sudden temperature changes, such as pouring cold water on it. This may cause cracking.
●When placing the pot on a table after cooking, always use a trivet or similar protection.
●Do not leave liquid, broth, or ingredients in the pot for extended periods. Please transfer the contents to another container as soon as possible.
●Do not use a dishwasher.
●If there is burnt-on food, do not use sharp objects. Soak in lukewarm water to soften it before removing.
◎Care Instructions After Use
●Avoid soaking. Once the pot has cooled, wash it thoroughly with a sponge and mild detergent. Wash with dish soap and rinse thoroughly.
●Wash the unglazed bottom of the pot thoroughly. If the stains do not come off, use dish bleach to remove them. After washing, turn the pot upside down and allow it to dry completely. Insufficient drying can cause mold.
◎Handling Instructions in the following cases
Earthenware pots are made to absorb water well, making them resistant to cracking and suitable for cooking. However, after several uses, cracks (crazing) may appear on the surface.
●If cracks appear
Leaving cracks as they are can cause odors and mold. Cooking porridge will fill the cracks with starch. If there is still significant leakage, please discontinue use.
*Due to the nature of carbohydrates, flour and porridge will mold if left exposed to moisture. Always dry them thoroughly and store them in a well-ventilated place.
●If mold appears:
Fill a pot with water (80% full) and add 2-3 tablespoons of vinegar. Bring to a boil. The vinegar's antibacterial and deodorizing effects will treat the mold, and the pot can be used as is.
●If it develops an odor:
Fill a pot with water (80% full) and add a handful of tea leaves. Bring to a boil. The tea components will reduce the odor.
●If mochi (rice cake) sticks to the pot:
Soak in hot water and mild detergent, then remove with chopsticks or similar.
