PB-SNC2 RX-7X with New Generation VAS Shield System <VAS> Arai has a long history of improving its "damage deflection performance" by learning from real-world cases. The world's first shield system, VAS, evolves this deflection performance. No helmet can absorb a certain amount of energy. In real-world situations, large amounts of energy must be deflected. Therefore, the shape has been pursued to be smooth and easy to deflect. Previously, the shield mounting area required a slight step for opening and closing. The VAS shield system lowers this mounting area by 24 mm, pursuing a smoother and more deflection-friendly form, using the Snell standard test line as a guide.

■Chin Cover (Removable): By attaching it to the bottom of the helmet body, the egg-shaped form is further emphasized, blocking unpleasant wind from below the chin while allowing stale air around the mouth to be exhausted by negative pressure through the side air-through bypass.

■ PB-SNC2 Shell: Constructed primarily with super fiber in a net structure, meticulously layered and molded using special fibers with the highest level of tensile strength and elastic modulus among organic fibers. A new resin was also developed to pursue both strength and lightness.

■ Air Channel Vent System: To further improve ventilation performance inside the helmet, stagnant air inside the shield is efficiently guided to the <Side Duct 6> to expel hot air.

■ Diffuser Type 12: Extended by approximately 20mm and with the rear sides narrowed to a lower shape, the spoiler function has been further improved. Intake efficiency is increased by approximately 19% compared to Type 10. Air intake volume can be adjusted when fully open and half-open, and sound insulation and rain protection performance have also been improved.

■ IC Duct 5: Intake volume is increased by approximately 11% compared to Delta Duct 5 (RX-7 RR5). The latest IC duct features a large switch for reliable operation and adjustable air intake volume in fully open and half-open positions, with significantly improved soundproofing and rainproofing performance when fully closed.

■VAS-V MV Shield: Equipped with the standard-equipped Max Vision Shield, an all-season shield for the VAS series that provides a wider field of view in various riding situations. (Anti-fog "Pinlock sheet" is available as an option.)

■RX-7X: EcoPure Interior: Newly developed interior using EcoPure, which maintains the same slightly acidic pH as bare skin and has antibacterial, deodorizing, and stain-resistant properties. The interior material frame has been redesigned to deeply envelop the entire helmet, allowing for fine adjustments to position and thickness.

■Comfortable Full Support Interior: Features an FCS structure system pad with adjustable thickness for intercom compatibility, a wide mouth space to reduce breathlessness, a smaller NE nozzle without reducing exhaust efficiency, and improved comfort such as ease of putting on and taking off, and a better fit. To further improve ventilation inside the helmet, stagnant air inside the shield is efficiently guided to the Side Duct 6 to expel hot air.
