Food supplement in the form of a hard capsule containing L-glycine, an endogenic amino acid, that acts as a neurotransmitter and is an essential component for synthesis of proteins, i.a. collagen.
The promising properties of glycine are attracting more and more people's interest in its effects. It turns out that despite being produced in the body, some individuals may suffer from its deficiency. A proper diet and supplementation usually help restore the body's balance. Discover the benefits of using Glycine 1000 mg.
Glycine, Gly (Latin: acidum aminoaceticum), is the smallest and simplest organic compound among all amino acids. It is used for protein production. It is endogenous, meaning the body has the ability to produce it on its own.
Glycine plays important roles in the body, including the nervous system and the motor system. Studies have shown that glycine, as a neurotransmitter, is involved in processing motor and sensory information, enabling movement, vision, and hearing[1]. This amino acid also participates in collagen synthesis, potentially supporting cartilage regeneration. It has been proven that a severe glycine deficiency negatively affects collagen production. It is worth noting that substantial amounts of glycine need to be consumed in the diet to meet the demand for collagen synthesis[2]. According to research, taking glycine in the evening may improve subjective sleep quality and effectiveness, reducing daytime sleepiness and positively influencing cognitive functions[3]. Improvement in well-being upon awakening has also been observed, with study participants reporting reduced fatigue, increased vitality and energy, and improved mental clarity[4].
Glycine can be relatively easily obtained through a protein-rich diet. Good sources of this amino acid include meat, fish, dairy products, and vegetables[5]. Supplements are also helpful in meeting glycine requirements, allowing for personalized dosage.
Our supplement stands out due to its high glycine content (1000 mg in one capsule). The recommended daily dosage is 3000 mg, which can be achieved by taking 3 capsules. We suggest using the product 1 hour before bedtime. The product can also be taken in liquid form—simply open the capsule, mix it with water, and consume immediately. There is no need to worry about unpleasant taste sensations as glycine is sweet, so using it in powder form poses no problems.
It is also worth noting the visual design of the supplement label. You will notice a cosmic theme, which is not there by chance. In 2009, NASA scientists confirmed the presence of glycine in space. It was discovered in samples of the Wild 2 comet returned by NASA's Stardust mission, providing evidence for the theory that "some building blocks of life formed in space and were delivered to Earth long ago by meteorite and comet impacts"[6].
What is special about capsules Glycine 1000 mg?- High content of glycine (1000 mg) in one capsule.- Clean label - no unnecessary additives.- Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.- Sugar-free, gluten-free, lactose-free, soy-free, GMO-free.
New Environmentally Friendly and Responsible PackagingCaring for the environment and quality, we are gradually introducing new packaging. Instead of the previously used BioPET, we are now using bottles made of rPET (50% recycled plastic) and standard PET – both are fully recyclable.During the transition period, you may receive the product in different packaging variants, but we always ensure their high quality and safety.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us care for our planet together!
