The camera is made of a highly precise, retractable carbon fiber pipe and lightweight magnesium metal. The new body is even lighter, boasting high rigidity and comfortable portability.
The QRA system allows you to securely attach and detach the camera with just one touch. It features an ultra-lightweight, thin shoe plate made of magnesium and a 2-way level.
The magnesium used in the tripod head and main body base has a specific gravity of 1.7, which is two-thirds that of aluminum and one-quarter that of iron, making it the lightest of all practical metals, and it also has excellent specific strength, dimensional stability, and vibration absorption.
